I’ve done some major updates to this site, inspire by indieweb and neocities sites. My intention for this e-space is to share weirdness that doesn’t neatly fit into other places

I love the concept of a site that keeps growing and is also not connected to mainstream social media - i’ve been soo inspired by other neocities sites, to share stuff people nerd about, and the ways they’re shared (abstract much). Also particularly inspired by the using of a personal site as a tool of personal power? and hopefully collective power too?

As someone who’s done coding for a living (with emphasis on web-based technologies) for over 10 years, and avoided engaging with coding from a place of play for many reasons, it’s nice to just have fun with it and take a break from the constraints of what “professionalism” defines as an “acceptable” website.

Why neocities? There’s a cool community here, and as a project to take on to be able to collectivize through skill sharing
